Accessibility statement
Last updated: 13 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Shevet, including people with disabilities. The site and app were built to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
What we did
- Heading structure and labels that work with screen readers, and text alternatives or labels for icons and buttons.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear focus indicator.
- Colour contrast between text and background, and a dark mode that follows your device settings.
- Text can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content, and the layout adapts to every screen size.
- Right-to-left support for Hebrew and Arabic, and left-to-right languages.
- Animations are turned off for people who set "Reduce motion" on their device.
- Plain, clear language, and error messages that explain what to do.
Known limitations
- Content posted by businesses (such as activity descriptions) is written by them and may not always meet every guideline.
- The service is in beta, and we keep testing and improving. If you hit a problem, we want to know.
